Basic Services

  • Holds  – The library will place holds on materials that the library owns for all  Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) cardholders.
  • Interlibrary Loan – The library will Interlibrary Loan materials owned by other libraries for Worth Public Library cardholders only.
  • Reciprocal Borrowing – Worth Public Library cardholders are able to use their library card at libraries that are members of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS). Members of any Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) library are able to use their library card at Worth Public Library.
  • Toddler Story Time

    Children aged 12 – 36 months and their caregivers are invited for a lapsit story time that involves 30 minutes of songs, stories, games, and a simple craft.

  • Youth Bingo

    Play BINGO and win prizes.

  • Video Game Free Play: Super Smash Bros.

    Open play for Super Smash Bros (5th grade and up) Due to limited space, you must sign up for this event at the Circulation Desk. Sign up begins on March 21st.

  • Youth Book Club

    For those in 2nd – 5th grades. This group is for those that love to read. As a group we will read novels, comic books, and short stories. After 20 – 30 minutes of reading we will make a simple craft or play games.

    March 29 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Worth Library Meeting Room
  • PJ Story Time

    Come to this late night story time and get ready for bedtime. We will read picture books, sing and dance, and make a simple craft.
