Youth Summer Reading Starter Kit Pick-up

Starter kits include summer reading goodies, lanyard and punch card, and will be available starting June 21st. Kits are first come first serve, while supplies last. You must be signed up for the online summer reading program (https://worthlibrary.beanstack.org/reader365) to receive a Starter Kit.
Worth residents only.
Extra lanyards and punch cards may be available if you do not receive a full starter kit.

I Love Reading Lanyard 
You can earn pins for your lanyard by completing the following activities: 
Activity Pin: Complete 5 of the activities that are listed online.
Club Pin: Attend a summer reading club. 
Maker Pin: Enter a craft or art project in the Maker Contest/Show. 
Punch Pin: Complete the reading punch card (found in this bag). 
Reading Pin: Complete all 10 reading badges online. 
Review Pin: Enter 2 reviews for 2 books that you have read (one review for each book).
Trivia Pin: Enter the Youth Trivia Contest.

Reading Punch Card 
Earn a pin by completing the punch card found in this bag. 
Bring your card to the Youth Services desk once a week, between July 6th and July 30th to have your card punched. On the line next to the star, you can write the title of the book, a date and the amount of time you read that day, or a date and the number of pages you read that day. 
Each week that you have your card punched you will receive a Surprise Prize from the treasure chest. One prize per week only. You must come in each week to earn your pin.
When you bring your completed card in the last week of summer reading (Aug 2-6), you will receive your pin.

Please note:
*All pins and prizes are only available while supplies last. We will check to see that you have completed the requirements to earn your pin when you come in. If you lose your lanyard, punch card, or pins we may not be able to supply you with another one.
**A Youth Services staff member should be available M-Th between the hours of 10 and 7, and F, 10-4. There are times when the department may not be staffed. If we are not available at the time you come in we apologize for the inconvenience. You can leave us a note in our “mailbox” on the desk, and we will contact you to set up a time when you can come in. Feel free to call us at 708-448-2855 x3 if you know you are coming in, and we will confirm with you if someone will be at the desk at that time.
