Get a Library Card
Library cards are issued to residents of Worth and must be applied for in person at the library.
Requirements:
- To live in Worth
- A valid government issued ID or passport
- Proof of address such as:
Postmarked mail in your name less than 3 months old.
A current major utility bill – Electric, Water, Gas, etc.
A property tax bill
If you are unable to provide proof of address, we will be happy to mail you a postcard to your Worth address.
- Leases, Checks, Insurance cards and statements printed off the computer, will not be accepted.
- A parent or legal guardian must be present to get a card for a child under the age of 18, along with the child. The parent or guardian must accept responsibility for any items checked out to the child’s card. Patrons receive a free DVD rental coupon with a new or renewed library card. Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a person 14 years of age or older at all times.
