Weather & Storm Chasing 101

“Weather and storm chasing” refers to the practice of actively seeking out severe weather events, like tornadoes, large hailstorms, or strong thunderstorms, by following weather forecasts and driving to areas where these storms are likely to occur, often with the goal of observing, documenting, and studying the phenomenon up close, usually done by meteorologists or enthusiasts with specialized weather knowledge and safety protocols in place.
