Basic Services

  • Holds  – The library will place holds on materials that the library owns for all  Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) cardholders.
  • Interlibrary Loan – The library will Interlibrary Loan materials owned by other libraries for Worth Public Library cardholders only.
  • Reciprocal Borrowing – Worth Public Library cardholders are able to use their library card at libraries that are members of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS). Members of any Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) library are able to use their library card at Worth Public Library.

  • Bluestem Book Club

    Each meeting will focus on a 2020 Bluestem award book. We will discuss the book and do a fun activity. Grades 4 and 5. Registration required. Contact Youth Services.

  • Imagination Station

    Stories, activities, and art for ages 2-5. Registration Required. Program dates are February 11th, 18th, and 25th. You can register for as many dates as you would like. Call Youth Services at 708-448-2855 (option 3) and leave us a message or email us at with your contact information, the date(s) you would like to

  • Tween Craft

    Have a snack and make a fun craft with friends. 4th-8th Grade. Registration required. Sign up starts February 18th at the Circulation Desk or contact Youth Services. The craft may run past 4:30, but will end no later than 5pm.
